It is our utmost pleasure and honour to present the entities that supported Tbilisi 2017 – 86th International Session of the European Youth Parliament. Without their support and help, reaching our vision would not have been possible. Therefore, we are very grateful for having all of them on board.



Federal Foreign Office –

After 25 years of first diplomatic ties between Georgia and Germany, the year of 2017 represents a special period celebrating the official diplomatic relationship of two countries. We are glad to announce that German Federal Foreign Office will further highlight the significance of diplomatic bonds by supporting Tbilisi International Session as a main financial partner. This particular International Session will be dedicated to the celebration of German Georgian year of friendship. As Germany has played an essential role in Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic and European integration, the event gathering several hundred youth minds in order to discuss European issues will further enhance this process. It should be mentioned as well that German Embassy is actively involved and assisting with organisation of the event.


Schwarzkopf-Stiftung –

International umbrella organisation of the European Youth Parliament that for almost 30 years supports its activities. It strives for development of young people into politically-aware and responsible citizens by focussing on the strengthening of the European Idea and pan-European understanding.

Tbilisi City Hall –

Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of approximately 1.5 million people.


Stiftung Mercator –

A German-based foundation which which strives to generate prospects and create opportunities with the aim of fostering tolerance and knowledge-sharing processes.

It is our pleasure to announce another entity that supported the organisation of our international session. The German Savings Banks Association (Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband) is the umbrella organisation of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe – a group of German credit institutions. #ISTbilisi2017

The International Sessions (IS) are the flagship events of the European Youth Parliament. Laax 2016 has gathered 300 young adults from around 40 European countries to discuss late-breaking topics covering sustainability in a manifold way and additionally celebrate their cultural diversity.
