The NSC is one of the most important events in EYP and organizing it is a great contribution! The Head Organizer of the 6th NSC is Davit Makashvili and the session is planned to take place in Bazaleti (the venue is to be confirmed).

In the framework of European week,  SFEB (Students for Europe – Brussels) is organizing a Simulation of European Parliament. Students from all over the Europe will discuss hot topics on the European Parliament’s agenda and work together to bring in amendments. Finally, during the plenary session debates, students will vote for/against directives and hope for them [...]]]> EYP Georgia is pleased to announce the call for Georgian delegates at European Week in Brussels, organized by SFEB, which will take place on March 3-10, 2012.

In the framework of European week,  SFEB (Students for Europe – Brussels) is organizing a Simulation of European Parliament. Students from all over the Europe will discuss hot topics on the European Parliament’s agenda and work together to bring in amendments. Finally, during the plenary session debates, students will vote for/against directives and hope for them to become real some day. The aim is to show you how the real decision-making process takes place inside the European Parliament.

Besides, you’ll be right in the heart of the European Union, at its headquarters! That is to say in Brussels – an exciting city waiting to be discovered! Moreover, we’ll be taking you on a journey to a dream-land, the most beautiful Belgian town – Bruges! All these just to put you in the MEP’s shoes and make you meet another 50 foreign students just like you, eager to communicate and mingle together!!

If you are interested in European Politics and if you have always wanted to visit Brussels, the recruitment is open. EYP Georgia has a wonderful chance to send 5 delegates from Georgia. We are more than delighted to announce that the call for participants is now open for the International Training on Session Management, hosted by EYP Georgia.

On 2-5 February 2012, Georgia’s mountainous resort of Bakuriani will gather more than 20 EYPers from different European countries. The training will be led by two experienced trainers from the EYP Academy, Krista Simberg from Finland and Benoit Viault from France. The event is co-funded by the European Youth Parliament/Schwarzkopf Foundation.

Aiming to maintain a high quality of sessions throughout the EYP network, the training will be a great opportunity to exchange different approaches and useful experiences and will supply EYP with skilled organizers, head-organizers or future trainers.

Topics discussed will cover a wide range of areas including: golden rules of organizing, time management, crisis management, participant management, running orga-meetings, delegating tasks, managing the information, fundraising, etc. The Language of the training is English.

The 3-day winter event will take place in a modern hotel, making it possible for the participants to attend the training modules without having to leave the venue. Nestled in the shadows of the breathtaking Caucasus Mountains – and only a two-hour drive from Tbilisi, Bakuriani is the place for year-round fun and adventure. It is a paradise for ski-lovers and popular among the snowboard generation. Bakuriani boasts a unique climate, due to the fact that the resort lies in a subtropical zone but at a high altitude. So, we strongly encourage not missing the opportunity to have a great time in one of Georgia’s most popular ski resorts.
