Call for president – 74th International Session in Tbilisi 2013

Dear all,

We are very happy to launch the call for session president for 2013′s automn international session. The session will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia between October 4th – 13th 2013, under the motto “Europe on its frontiers – Deepening cooperation”.

The Session President will be required to arrive a few days in advance and work on many aspects of the session, from teambuilding to topics, to be involved in the selection of the session’s chairs team and to provide leadership for the whole session and its participants. The Session President will also be involved in the development and preparation of the Chairs’ Academic Training together with the Governing Body. Participating in this training is compulsory. The CAT will take place in Berlin on 6th – 8th September 2013.

Call for international delegates: 1st NSC of EYP Armenia

It is our great pleasure to inform you that the 1st National Selection Conference of EYP Armenia will take place on 28-30th June, 2013 in Yerevan, Armenia. More than 90 delegates from all regions of the country will come together for this three-day programme to experience EYP for the first time and tackle a range of issues around the theme “Challenging Crisis: foster innovative approaches”.

Call for delegates of the 7th NSC of EYP – Georgia

Dear all,

We are delighted to announce that a call for the delegates of the 7th National Selection Conference of European Youth Parliament Georgia ​​ is open till May ​29, 23:59.
​If selected an interview will be scheduled on ​Thursday.​

Between ​6th and ​9th of June 2013 a four day session will take place in Tbilisi at International Black Sea University (IBSU).
​
​The session is supported by IBSU, Tbilisi State University and Tbilisi State Medical University.​

We are delighted to say that the session will be presided by​​ highly experienced EYPer- Monika Ghosh. The Editors of the session will be Ria Farkas and Sofi Bokuchava. For more information about the 7th NSC of EYP-Georgia, please check an Information Booklet.

The session will gather 7 committees under the theme “European Youth Bringing Change”. ​The Board of EYP- Georgia will work hard to have experts for each topic.​

Dear all,

EYP- Georgia is delighted to announce that the Call for the positions of the  Journalists  at 7th NSC Georgia is open till May 25, 23:59.

2013 a four day session will take place in Tbilisi between 6th and 9th Jun​​e  . For more information about the 7th NSC of EYP-Georgia, please check an information booklet.

 

The session will gather 7 committees under the theme “European Youth Bringing Change”. ​The Board of EYP- Georgia will work hard to have experts for each topic.

​Currently we are looking for one Georgian Editor, 2 vice-presidents and at least 7 chairpersons.

Foreign officials will be allocated at the EYPers places.

Call for the Chairs Team – Leopolis 2013

Dear all,
EYP – Ukraine is delighted to announce that the Call for the Chairs Team at Leopolis 2013 is now open until May, 26th 23:59 EET.

Between 7th and 11th of August 2013 the forum will gather 120 participants in the magnificent city of Lviv to discuss different issues linked to the umbrella topic “Rethinking European Economy”.

The forum will be presided by Ms. Kerstin Eckart from Germany, and head-organised by Mr. Nazar Zhovtovsky and Ms. Maria Ihnatova.

Call for Officials – EYP Austria International Forum

EYP Austria’s International Forum will take place from July 7th to 12th 2013 in the beautiful city of Graz.

We are now looking for 2 vice-presidents, 6 chairs, 1-2 editor(s) and 6 journalists from all over Europe who want to join our team and make our forum an unforgettable event for all participants.

The Forum will be presided by Kerstin Eckart (DE). Inspired by Graz’s long tradition as a university city the theme of the session will be “Research & Development”

The participation fee for officials is 30 EUR, this includes all meals, stay in an excellent resort and activities.

Call for President and Editor for 7th NSC of EYP- Georgia

Dear Alumni,

The 7th National Selection Conference of EYP Georgia will be hosted by Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, from the 6th to the 9th of June 2013. We are happy to announce the call for the President and the Editor of the session.

For more information please check the Information Booklet. Deadline for sending applications for Editor or President to info@eyp.org.ge is Monday, 24th of May at 23:59 CET. 

There is no participation fee for officials. Significant portion of travelling cost to Tbilisi will be reimbursed. Accommodation will not be provided, however we can offer a homestay at EYPers place.

The session programme will include Teambuilding, Euro Concert, Welcoming and Farewell party, 3 full days of Committee Work and General Assembly. 7th National Selection of EYP Georgia will gather about 130 participants together who will be united under the session theme “European Youth-Bringing a Change”.

During warm days of June you will become a part of an amazing session in the beautiful and charming capital city of Georgia.

Call for the organizers: the 74th International Session of the European Youth Parliament

Dear all, 

European Youth Parliament Georgia is excited to launch a call for the organizers of the 74th International Session of the European Youth Parliament.

The EYP is a non-partisan and independent educational project which encourages independent thinking and socio-political initiative in young people and facilitates the learning of crucial social and professional skills. 

International Session is an annual flagship event of the EYP. After Munich and Zurich Internationals Sessions in 2013 the 74th International Session will bring together about 330 young people from 35 European countries to Tbilisi now.  This mega international event will takes place from October 3 through October 13. 74th International Session will host high ranking domestic and international officials, including the diplomats from the European Union, members of the Governing Body of EYP from the Head Office and the Schwarzkopf Foundation in Berlin.

Permanent Patron of EYP Sessions is Thorbjørn Jagland – Secretatry General of the Council of Europe, while the members of the Comite D Honneur include Martin Schultz – President of the European Parliament; José Manuel Barroso – President of the European Commission, Maroš Šefčovič – Vise-President of the European Commission and Neelie Kroes – Vice-President of the European Commission.

Currently European Youth Parliament is seeking for young volunteers to work with the team of the organizers. The tasks will be following:

  •      Planning the logistics of the Session (accommodation, travel, meals, etc.),
  •      Working with the PR team on the Session web page and Session facebook page
  •      Assisting the fundraising team
  •     Creating necessary session materials (knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop is an advantage)
  •    Participating in the Session

Those selected will have chance get recommendations from the Head Organizers of the Session – that will consequently allow them to participate in different International Sessions as Journalists or Chairs. Additionally, organizing committee members will be awarded with the certificate, after the completion of the project.

Eligibility criteria:

  •  Age 16-25
  •  English Language proficiency
  •  Attendance at previous EYP local, regional or international sessions is an advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work with team
